Erik & Karla

We were recently hired to do video for Erik & Karla's wedding. Unfortunately, they had already hired someone to take their pictures. We showed up to do the video and noticed there wasn't anyone taking pictures of important events of the day. Well, I ALWAYS have my camera with me and started taking pictures...good thing I did. Their photographer never showed and we were hired on the spot. Karla's father giving her away, the exchanging of the vows, their first kiss, their first dance...none of it would have been captured had we not been prepared. We didn't have the chance to plan the day as we normally would, but we still got some sweet shots of this young couple...

Patrick & Cyndi

Patrick and Cyndi are a couple that I met for the first time in person the day of their engagement shoot. They are originally from El Paso and met at Music Under the Stars five years ago. Their love continued to grow for each other from that moment on and this summer they are getting married. Congratulations Patrick & Cyndi!

Josh & Vanessa's Wedding

I had mentioned in an earlier post that we have been super busy here at Moments Captured and the blog has suffered, but I promise to keep posting our work every week.

This is a weddding we did a few months ago with a gorgeous couple, Josh & Vanessa, who are so much in love. They and their bridal party were so much fun to work with and up for anything. This is a short version of the video using a song they chose. I hope you enjoy it.

Memory Slideshow

Another thing we do at Moments Captured is slideshows. I love working with old photographs. Photographs bring back such great memories! These photos are pretty special. A client of mine brought in photographs that her grandfather took during WWII. Many of them are still in tact, some I had to restore and others were damaged beyond repair. Nonetheless, these photos are priceless. She wanted this video as a gift to her grandfather who is in his 90's! I suggested she put the photos in a museum, so she said she would look into it. I'm pleased to be able to share them with you. I usually use motion effects in our videos, but due to his age and poor vision she wanted to keep it simple. I hope you enjoy the slideshow...
